This optional cover allows the choice of a closed bow (with better “big water”, bow storage, or cold weather abilities) or the use of the nice molded open bow.
There was a molded lip in the surround of the bow rider area designed to accept these bow covers (hatch) for a flush look. Foam weatherstrip tape is applied to the lip for sealing.
“Take-a-part” style hinges are included. One half of the hinge bolts to the cover and the other half to the boat deck in front. This allows the cover to hinge open from the walk-thru windshield door area for access to articles in the bow area or the cover can be very quickly removed.
